Word of warning: when you change the date, check that the game can list your achievements in-game before obtaining new medals. The date can be changed and the challenges will adjust while the game is running too. That means the earliest possible this game could be completed is September 1st, 2021. As for playing other month's challenges for medals with date changing you can go as far back in the past as September 2020 and as far in the future as the end of the current month. For the daily challenges medals you need to complete the following number of challenges: 30 for Bronze, 60 for Silver, 90 for Gold and 120 for Diamond.
I think this is realistically only possible using numbered type tiles (characters/bamboo/circles). After you match at least 6 pairs of the same type back to back what you can do is undo to the beginning of the chain and repeat the same chain until the achievement pops. To make progress for this achievement you need to set up the board (by making other matches) with at least 6 (yes, six, because the chain starts at the second match) pairs of the same type that you can match back to back. For the achievement "Chain Master" (Complete 10 chains of 5 or more): a "chain" means matching pairs of the same type of tiles in a row, such as matching only bamboo tiles back to back or only dragon tiles back to back. Good news is that for the achievement "Marathon" (Complete at least one daily challenge every day for a month) you don't need to play one challenge every real-time day it works to just play challenges from past days using the in-game calendar and it will count them. Definitely a new list, not UWP, no sync with other versions of Microsoft Mahjong, the achievements are live and they add gamerscore.
